Paintings and Objects

I work with painting and sculptural forms. The portrait is at the center of my practice, with faces often concealed or transformed. My works emerge from recurring processes — series, variations, and translations between image, material, and object. Interior spaces serve as mental spaces in which reality and construction begin to shift.

No. 9 – Evolution of a Motif

Number Nine was originally created as part of the series Project 52 and has since been revisited, varied, and further developed over several years. The motif moves through different forms and contexts, while remaining recognizable as a figure.

The current portrait continues this development. At the same time, an interior scene emerges in which Number Nine appears for the first time as a supporting figure, becoming part of an expanded pictorial space.
